What is PRP?

The science behind your body’s own healing potential.

PRP therapy, also known as Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy, is a cutting-edge treatment that harnesses the body’s natural healing abilities to promote tissue regeneration and accelerate the recovery process. It involves using the patient’s own blood, which is processed to concentrate the platelets and growth factors, creating a powerful healing serum. These concentrated platelets are then injected into the targeted area, stimulating cellular repair and promoting the body’s natural healing response.

What to Expect

Each treatment begins with a simple blood draw. The sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate your platelets, which are then injected into the targeted area. Most treatments take under an hour, require little to no downtime, and results continue improving over several weeks as your body regenerates naturally.

FAQs

What makes this different from a traditional doctor’s visit?

We spend time understanding your full story — not just your symptoms. Our care model is proactive, personalized, and designed to find the root causes driving your health challenges.

Do you accept insurance?

We operate as a direct care practice and do not bill insurance. However, we gladly accept HSA and FSA funds, and we can provide itemized receipts for potential reimbursement.

Can I work with Kathryn virtually?
I’ve already done labs. Will I have to retest everything?

Not necessarily. If you’ve had recent testing, we’ll review it in detail to see what’s still relevant and where gaps might exist. If needed, we’ll recommend additional labs—but only if they help us see the full picture more clearly.

We’re here to make this process efficient, not repetitive.

Is this right for me if I’ve already worked with a functional medicine practitioner?

Yes—especially if you still feel off.

About half of our clients have worked with functional or integrative practitioners before. What’s different here is how we connect everything together. We go beyond protocols and symptom mapping—we look at patterns across systems, your lived experience, and what your body is really saying.

If you’ve done “all the right things” and still feel stuck, this is where we start again—differently.

What if I don’t know what’s wrong, I just know I don’t feel well?

That’s the perfect time to reach out.

You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear “problem” to start. You need a team that listens, investigates, and helps you connect the dots. Whether you’re dealing with fatigue, gut issues, brain fog, hormonal chaos, or all of the above, we’re here to help you figure it out.

We specialize in complex cases, yes—but also in the people who just need answers.

When will I start noticing changes?
